I love to change-up my hair color but sometimes, I forget to take care of my EYE brow color. It’s worth the time and effort to lighten your brows if you lighten you hair, in order to avoid a harsh contrast between the two.

The easiest route to lighter brows could be in the form of a good pencil or shadow, but if your brows are very dark, you will need to bleach them a bit. I like Jolen Bleaching Cream because it’s easy to use and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Traditionally, Bleaching Cream is used to lighten unwanted facial hair (the dreaded mustache on a woman), but Makeup Artists all over have used cream to lighten the eyebrows (it’s one of our many tricks).

Follow the instructions but keep the product on for no more than 10 minutes, or you run the risk of over-bleaching the brows. Follow up with an accompanying eye brow pencil. My favorites are by M.A.C. in colors like Strut and Lingering.
