A long time ago, I was a huge fan of black nail polish and black lipstick on top of black clothes! I could blame it on the fact that it was the 1980’s or just that I like black. At any rate, black lipstick made a brief appearance at M.A.C., where English designer Gareth Pugh, has designed a sexy, smooth, decadent collection of accessories, liners, lashes, pigments, and polishes. I was one of the LUCKY Beauty Babes who scored the limited edition Creamsheen Black Knight lipstick. I snatched up this lipstick online on “Black Friday” while the rest of you were standing in long lines at various retailers (hee hee)! I’ll post a picture later so I can prove to you that Black lipstick is doable if you pair it with a beautiful, pale, shimmery eye shadow and a peach colored cheek! Pugh’s colors offer a range of tones that may appear shocking but are actually quite wearable, like the “Fervent” lipcolor (see picture on far left), a beautiful blackened berry, and “Vacant” lip gloss, which is described as a pale, sheer, lavender mixed with grey, and a pearl finish. Make your way over to M.A.C. and check out Pugh’s line of unique, rich colors and accessories. Don’t forget to register yourself on M.A.C.’s website too so that you don’t miss out on the next wave of fabulous products coming your way.
