Lip Tar + Larger Than Life Gloss= Happy Lips!

I really like to play around with different brands so I mixed some Lip Tar in Pennyroyal by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (described as a “Warm Taupe Neutral”) with my NARS Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Gold Digger, a really pretty peach that has just the right touch of shimmer to make my smile sparkle!  Lip Tar is one of the most amazing products I’ve ever used for my lips. Because of the all natural ingredients, including peppermint oil, my lips feel really smooth after each use. As I’ve said before in previous blogs, a little goes a long way, when using OCC’s Lip Tar. The product dries to a matte finish and can be worn alone or with liner and gloss. NARS Larger Than Life Gloss is very lightweight and the texture is not sticky or sloppy. On top of ingredients that nourish your lips, this high shine gloss also helps plump up your pout!

Combining makeup brands gives me much more versatility with products and makeup styles and besides, it’s so much more fun to mix and match!

Colorful Eyes by the 3M’s: MAC, Magnolia, and Make Up For Ever

Loads of color

When you wear eyeglasses, you have to play up your eyes much more than the average beauty babe. Although they are a necessity for some of us, glasses present a challenge in regards to eye makeup. Over the years, I have perfected the looks I like to sport while wearing my glasses. Recently, I decided to play around with some colors and create a fun look to match my summer mood and I started with Make Up For Ever’s  (MUFE) “Aqua Black,” a super supple and easily blendable, waterproof black eye shadow. I used it as a liner, then followed up with “Aqua Eyes” pencil in Turquoise-7L.  This brightly colored, waterproof pencil glided on without tugging my delicate eye lids and gave me just the right amount of color to make my eyes pop. MUFE was one of the many companies I bought products from while attending The Makeup Show and it was worth every penny to stand in the LONG line to purchase these beauty goodies!  M.A.C. eye shadow in Atlantic Blue was swept across the lids, and I added OCC Pigment in “Pollencount” to the inner creases of my eyes, with Magnolia Makeup Pigment in Aztec  along the brow bone for some extra “sass.”  I used tons of L’Oreal False Fiber Lashes Mascara in Blackest Black to complete my look and I was pleased with the results. Leave me a comment and tell me what you think!
